Poses from front to back:  Camels, Wide-Angle Seated Forward Bend, Wheel Pose and lastly, the Headstand

This is some backdated group yoga picture that we took sometime ago.  The Son was engrossed in his PS3 game while I was editing this picture.  When he look up at me, he was so facinated what all the Aunties can do.  I can’t deny it.  This is by far a very good combination composition.

After a few trip up to Cameron, we started to fall in love with the place especially the weather although at some days it can be hot and some days the wind can be very strong making the weather so pleasant, so suitable for outdoor activity especially rv camping.  I have been planning this event since 5 years ago but the timing is always not right whenever we are in Cameron Highlands. So this time I die-die also must go pick my own vegetables. While driving around looking for the vegetable farm, ’ssssssssssome’ people losses their patient and we get comments like this:

“Aiyah, just buy some carrot and stick them in the ground then ask your kids to pull lor.”

“Veges from the market don’t want to buy. Come and pluck veges and do all the farmer’s work. He must be laughing his way to the bank!”

Thanks to BIL & Daddy. That is such an encouragement. Not!

Something not related to Yoga but rather a birth announcements.

By the time I blog about this, the newborn has just celebrated his 1st month birthday.  Everybody, say hi to Ezekiel.  Sorry, Ezekiel can’t say hi yet *sticking out tongue*

Neway, I totally love newborn in the family. This kind of baby is just perfect. When you get tired of him you can just give him back to his parents.

Baby Ezekiel @ 13 days old.

Lately, my 9 years old daughter  has been showing lack of interest in the  activity she is currently into.   For example Violin.  After learning them for 3 years, now she wants to take up piano lessons. But I am firmed on my philosophy – “You finish what you started!”  Not only that, she has been talking me out on switching from Teckwando to Ballet.  I know, Ballet is every litte girls dream.  To me, self defense is more important than hopping here and there in a pink tutu.  Then it got me thinking, since she is kinda flexible, I might as well introduce Yoga to her, right?

Aiyoh, headache only.  Kids nowadays is so fortunate!

Few days ago, we was watching a Hip Hop Dance competition on teevee.  This is how the competition goes. There are three contestant. Everyone need to show a few Hip Hop movement and the one awe the judges most win.  My 7 years old son was watching it with “eye popping-jaw dropping-salivar drooling-lost in the world” concentration.  Breaking the silence, I dare him to challenge me.

Same rules, each person should out beat the other with a Hip Hop movement.  He was more excited than me!  Rolling his shoulder, pulling up his sleeve and he challenge me with his first movement:

*rolling eye*  The Hip Hop way of handstand

Now my turn *ahem*.  The Mummy doesn’t know Hip Hop but you know, most of their dance movement is so closed to Yoga.  Drum rolling…

The Kondinyasana

You should look at the expression on my 7 years olds son!  His eyes popped out and jaw dropped one more time!  That is a priceless moment! LOL!  (Ya la tu, I know I got a dem fat thigh. Can stop staring at it now.  Who wants to recommend the best weight loss pill that works on the thigh?)

This time he beh kam muang (don’t want to give in).  He took a deep inhalation, pull up his sleeve again and challenge me his second movement:

*waving white flag*  I can’t do a cartwheel.  He was darn happy that he won!

Everybody, clap hand la!
