On certain day of the month (not related to Aunty Flo) I will craved for sweet stuff particularly candy.  I have stash of candies in my drawer for days like that.  One of the most sinful tidbit is Snickers which I limited myself to one piece per consumption.  Not that I am kiam siap (stingy), 91kcal/bar is a lot of calories!

And before you comment further, I know my office dinosaur computer can’t beat your cool, sleek and handsome looking lcd monitor. Enough said :p

Does anyone know any supplier that accept all sort of inkjet cartridges for recycling?  The one I know is very choosy.  They only accept certain cartridges as they claim so and so brand is cheaper and no point to recycle.  I have like 100 pieces of them with me currently.  Will give it another 6 months time frame.  If I can’t get any supplier, might disposed them.  I know, such a waste right?

There is one thing I don’t quite like and will avoid all possible is “free flow” or “do-whatever-you-feel-in-the-moment” Yoga. Many will think that it is a great way to show what you have learn and the teacher will be there to correct it.  Well, maybe it is the ‘me’ thing.  I preferred discipline and guidance.  If you have never done this before, it is a lot of fun… sometimes.  But not everyone is ready to flow yet or good in it.  But what do ya say for a weekend, just roll out the mat, put on some music and just play or savasana as much as you like staring at the Hunter ceiling fans wishing it will start spinning that moment? I love it!

This thing about Lady Gaga.  My kids and me love her song.  I have not seen her MTV before and one day, someone posted one of her MTV on Facebook  condemning her clothing.  Holy crow, for an adult viewing I would say that she is HOT!  but her scantily cloth is so inappropriate for kids!  My 5 years old ask me, “Why is Lady Gaga dancing in her pantie?” And it is not a granny pantie.  It is a G-string for goodness sakes!

Now the most shocking news about her is the recent 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles.   Our dear Miss Lady Gaga arrived at the Nokia Theater wearing the most outrageous DESIGNER dress that was made from raw meat.

Photo time!

From top to toe is covered with raw fatty meat. I think the Designer should infuse it with powerful fat burner before sewing the cloth. Her hat is raw meat, her dress is raw meat, her clutch bag is a piece of ragged raw meat.  Look, it even sway with her while walking (Yucks!) And her boots… was very neatly wrapped up in bacon.  She is really a piece of meat!  Hmm… I wonder if her cloth is fire resistance cos it would be delicious to put her on the barbecue.

In my possession, I own quite a number of Apple product.  Up to todate, I have the iPod, iPhone and my newest gadget is the iPad.  The day that I posted up the iPad picture on my Facebook, one of them teased me, “eih, you got iPhone, iPad.. now you need iMac!!  Now you are like driving a BMW with proton engine built in. hehehe”.

This is what we called the peer pressure, ok.  Initially, I was aiming for a simple Asus.  After giving it a thought, it is quite true.  I need a better machine that can run the large amount of photo processing like a road runner.  But of course every good things come with a price.

However, looking at Be Yoga grow then ceased business like this really saddens a lot of us.  I just like to wish Ninie and Azmi well.  May the force be upon you!

Sometimes, it is practical to have a basic gym equipment at home like the treadmills, ellipticals or spinner for people like me that have to juggle between kids, home, work and exercise.  Having a bicycle (real ones) is not a bad idea, but getting injuries from cycling is high especially with the traffic and crime rates. I rather use the spinner at the comfort of home while babysitting.  Not bad of killing two birds with a stone huh.

There is this shop I frequented called GNC Live Well who sell vitamins.  I was always curious and wonder what is the purpose of all those big and gigantic bottles of supplements that looks like milk powder or health drink that labeled like super pump 250.  Found out finally that they are for body builders who wants to boost up their muscle.  I wonder how effective it is?

Remember a while ago I blogged about Kenko Diet Plum that is good to ease constipation?  Well, I forgot to mentioned that (or maybe I did) the plum is not suitable for pregnant ladies.  There’s really nothing much to help except to eat high fibre food and avoid sitting on the toilet bowl for long period to avoid hemorrhoid or better known as piles too.  To ease the discomfort, hemorrhoid cream is the solution.

There are a few factors that contribute to one having cholesterol like genetically, eating high fat food, smoking or high blood pressure.  Sometimes, controlling our diet and exercising is not enough.  There are supplements which can help to lower down the cholesterol. I wonder is there any traditional ways to do it?  I was told, eating an apple a day in the morning on empty stomach, keeps the doctor away.  A cup of oat is helpful too.  Care to share your method of cholesterol treatment?
