*My definition of Fat here is putting on weight. I used F.A.T. cos the word consist of 3 alphabets only. Can?*
When I was in my teenage years, no matter how much I eat, I can never put on weight. I was weighing at 39/40kg only. During my first pregnancy, I ballooned up to 62kg! That is a whooping 22 kgs that I have put on. At one time I almost resorted to try diet pills. The day I gave birth to my 3rd child till to date, food is my next enemy. That is such a pathetic sight. When I stand around with my siblings, it takes a blind man to know who is FAT! No prize for guessing which one is me tho *sticking out tongue*
Sometimes I couldn’t understand woman. What is wrong being fat? The answer is woman are vain lor. Simple as that.
p/s: Picture above took from my trip on Superstar Libra Cruise. Those are the guys that performed to the “Macho Man” performance.
p/p/s: I am not refering to woman in the whole universe. The woman is basically just me. Well, you know… if I don’t mentioned this someone will come jumping on me. Don’t want to take risk in case some people are just so sensitive. Where is the freedom of speech nowadays? *cringe*
Something not related to yoga.
I remember seeing my late paternal Grandma uses this type of zinc wash basin for her laundry. During the 80’s zinc basin is commonly used.
Seeing them thus make me think of my childhood I remember when I was younger, I used to take my bath in the basin too and my Mom make me washed my own school shoes when I was 6y/o from the same basin too. If you are wondering, I took these farmhouse sinks during my trip to Disneyland in 2007 but never get a chance to blog about it.
What do you think if I fix one of those at my garden?
My Sister who is now in her third trimester of pregnancy was feeling rather uncomfortable and her movement was restricted as the day goes by. As the baby inside her gradually grow each days, she find herself quite uncomfortable when sleeping. You won’t understand how it feels if you are not a mother. Most of the time, she feels out of breath and need to be prop up with 2 pillows during sleeping time. But that can get very clumsy when sometimes you would prefer yourself sleeping lower and sometimes higher. Lately, she got herself a ‘S’ shape adjustable beds. The bed are shaped according to your body contour and the best part, it is adjustable with a press of a button. Not only that, the bed are equipped with a massage feature. That is great for me tho. I’m going to pop over at her place soon to try out the bed myself.
I know I’ve been neglecting my blog and have not been updating it lately. There’s a few things happening around me and to make matter worst, I am lack of blogging inspiration = zero blog post.
Recently, I had a few trips to the clinic and thanks God, my blood pressure is back to normal. Ok, so this thing called Yoga actually works. Miracle! hehe…
I have been absence from classes for almost two weeks now due to some tummy cramps, nausea feeling, weak body…. you named it, I’ve got it. Something very close to pregnancy sympton 😉 . And NO! I’m not pregnant *sticking out tongue*
Now that I’m finally recovered and my body is not that weak anymore, I’m back to my full swing, that is attending 4 classes a week. Good thing the package that I’ve signed up with Yoga Zone permit unlimited attendance. Which means I can go anytime, anyday, any class at my convenience. I have since familiarized myself with the instructors and know their field of expertise. For example, Jackie concentrate more on flexibility and Janet concentrate more on abs eventho both are conducting Hatha classes. Jackie’s class for me, that is for sure.
Plank Posture
I am not even sure if my arm is strong enough to hold myself in Plank or even downward dog. We’ll see about that.
Ciao, ciao everyone. I’m off to my Yoga now. Namaste!
